Something that made me smile

The last few days have been horrible. Princess One decided I needed to age about 20 years overnight. She’s been on medication and the doctor switch her to a different one that it turns out she’s allergic to. You know I’ve had some horrid experiences with my four kids but waking her up to find her bright red (yes BRIGHT red) and lips about five times their normal size is something I never want to do EVER AGAIN! The really horrible part is she’s taken this medication before without any problems but now she CAN’T have it! FULL STOP! She needs to carry a card in her wallet and we’re looking at some sort of jewelery she can wear. Seriously, it could turn a mother to drink.

Anyway, yesterday I opened the mailbox to find a lovely card from Terri. She won one of my contests a while back and she’d sent me a thank you card for her prize. It was totally unnecessary and unexpected but so greatly appreciated. So to Terri I say a big THANK YOU for making me smile when I needed to smile the most.
