Snippet Saturday – Author’s Choice.
What to pick, what to pick……mmmmm
I’m going with Saxon.
Carly Simmons has lusted after her boss for six months. Throwing caution to the wind while on a business trip in Singapore, she suggests a fling. When Saxon takes her up on her offer, Carly gets far more than the conservative businessman she’s expecting.
Saxon Grant is definitely up for a weekend of red-hot sex, but once he gets his hands on Carly he knows a couple of days will never be enough. Months of wanting her explode into a weekend of tangled sheets and twisted emotions.
And after one wild weekend, these two hearts will never be the same.
EXCERPT:
“Carly?”
She loved the sound of her name on his tongue. Or it could just be his voice. He had a bedroom voice, a little rough, a little naughty. She shuddered and brought her gaze up to meet his. Her tongue flicked out, slid across her bottom lip and she watched his eyes light with desire, his nostrils flare. Good, the man was not unaffected. With a sexy grin she placed her order.
“I’ll take a Singapore Fling, thanks,” she purred.
Saxon choked, fumbled with his menu, and cleared his throat. “I think you mean a Singapore Sling.”
“I know what I mean.” Carly waited a beat. “And I mean what I say.”
His Adam’s apple bobbed. He stared at her for a minute, studied her face, her eyes. When he finally turned to the waiter, he ordered two Singapore Slings. Placing his menu on the table between them, he reached into the tub of peanuts to grab a handful and leaned back in his chair to slowly shell them. One by one, he popped them in his mouth.
Carly sat mesmerized by the shift of muscles, the slide of long, lean fingers and large hands. Those babies could cover an awful lot of her flesh in one sweep. Or better yet, fill parts of her that ached to be filled. Vivid images of Saxon with his fingers buried between her legs exploded in her mind. She bit her lip and stifled the moan working its way up her throat. Warmth swirled in her lower belly.
One end of his mouth kicked up in a sexy grin that had her toes curling and her bones melting. In slow motion his tongue peeked out, slid between his lips from one corner to the other and left a glistening trail hers itched to follow. The pink muscle disappeared from view and Carly’s stomach knotted as the urge to lean over and suck it back out took hold. Those lush, kissable lips stretched into a full smile over straight white teeth that contrasted nicely against the red flesh surrounding them.
“So . . . you want a fling.”
Her gaze met his. The naked desire blazing in his blue eyes sent a shiver down her spine and blistering need burning in her pussy. He wanted her. There was no doubt in her mind, but would he do anything about it? With nothing to lose and everything to gain, Carly jumped in with both feet.
“Sure.” She shrugged. “But it would depend on who I was flinging with.”
“Really? So it’s not just any port in a storm?” he asked.
“No. I’m very picky about who I play with.” She let her gaze roam his body, taking her time, down over his chest and stomach to the noticeable bulge in his jeans. “It’s not something I do on a whim.”
“Do you normally proposition men in bars?”
“No.” In for a penny, in for a pound. “You’re the first.”
Now that she’d moved her hungry gaze from his crotch she saw the smile playing over his lips.
“Good. I’d hate to think this was a bad habit you have.” He watched her closely before adding, “I’d have to punish you if it was.”
Her eyes widened and her tummy lurched. “Punish?”
“Oh yeah. I’d turn you over my knee and spank that sexy ass of yours.”
Air rushed from her lungs and fluid seeped from her rapidly swelling pussy.
“I see you wouldn’t be adverse to such a thing. Good to know.”

Six Sentence Sunday – Coyote Home Pt2 – #sixsunday
Welcome back Sixers!
Her hands gripped his shoulder, slid into the hair at his nape and over his scalp. She tugged his head closer. Their teeth bumped and scraped and the kiss turned volcanic.
Heat blazed through her blood, pumping into her breasts and pussy, throbbing to a tribal beat only Quinn could drum up. She bent her legs, curled them around his hips and ground her pounding clit on his cock.

Snippet Saturday – Freaks come out at Night
This week we’re doing freaks of the night or bad boys of the night. I figure that would include my coyote shifters so I’m sharing a snippet of Steve from Coyote Whispers.
~~~~~~
Steve sat enclosed by darkness and listened to the sounds of the forest as it settled into the coming night. The sun had gone down hours ago thanks to the mountains he called home, but true sunset still had a few minutes. He’d lived in Whispering Springs or the surrounding mountain range his whole life. Never once had he felt the urge to leave it behind and explore the world. He took the occasional trip down the mountainside to visit one of the big cities, but there was no appeal in staying away longer than a day or two, a week at most.
He breathed deep, pulling the chilled, late-spring air into his lungs, the accompanying sting of cold meeting warm, a welcome twinge. His house had been finished for two months, but he hadn’t moved everything in until this past weekend. A grin curled his lips as he thought about why it had taken so long. Having his two best friends somewhat occupied with Rowan’s return had slowed down both the finishing of the house and the moving in. Not that he’d complain. Steve was more than happy Rowan had finally come home and even happier to see her reunited with her mate, Quinn.
The night around him grew still, quiet in a way that pricked his instincts, caused his hair to stand on end, and drew his coyote’s attention. Steve slowly sat forward, leaned over to put his beer bottle on the deck beside his chair, before closing his eyes and honing his senses to listen—to smell. The crush of undergrowth beneath running feet hit him first, followed by a body-slamming gust of fear. He scented two shifters but he couldn’t place them. Tried harder to separate them and connect either essence to the memory of its owner.
A howl of agony echoed up the ridge, sliced into his gut and pulled his coyote out with amazing speed. On his feet, Steve was glad he’d forgone shirt and shoes after his shower as he removed his sweats. Free of the restrictive garment, he shifted as he leapt over the deck railing to the ground one story below. He landed with a jolt to every bone but ignored it as he ran through the forest in the direction of the horrific screams of distress.
As he drew closer he could hear the struggles, smell the fear—the blood. The enjoyment. The attacker, in coyote form if he wasn’t mistaken, was thrilled with his catch. A catch Steve had every intention of setting free. His muscles shuddered and it wasn’t just from the exertion of running all out. He thought about stealth but a bloodcurdling cry and bark of triumph changed his mind. Low branches and shrubs slapped into him, tangled with his fur, as he powered his bulk toward the fight up ahead he glimpsed through the trees.
The other animal’s head whipped up, yellow eyes and white teeth glowed in the dusk as he turned in Steve’s direction. A frustrated howl rent the air as the coyote turned from his prey and bolted in the opposite direction. Torn between going after the retreating coyote and tending to the victim, Steve stumbled enough to have the decision made for him. Whoever the coyote was, he had too much head start and the metallic stench of blood told Steve his first concern should be the wounded human crumpled on the ground.
Ripped, blood-splattered clothes covered the too-still body, but there was no mistaking the feminine shape or perfume. He reached her side and shifted back to human form. Uncaring of his naked state, he knelt beside her head and felt for a pulse. The steady beat reassured him but how long would it stay that way? The overpowering aroma of spilled blood masked her scent, but he knew she was one of the pack, her scent was familiar. Too familiar. No! His fingers brushed away hair to reveal her face and Steve’s heart stopped.
“Doc?” The hoarse whisper ached in his throat.
Hiding out!
I’ve been hiding out a little this week. I don’t seem to be making much headway with any of the things I need to do but I did manage to blog elsewhere twice this week. Of course I forgot to tell you all about it.
I left a snippet of Spin The Bottle over on the Down Under Divas blog. Check it out HERE!
Six Sentence Sunday – Coyote Home Pt 1- #sixsunday
It Sunday and you all know what that means. Time for another six. This week I’m pulling six from Coyote Home, the first in the Coyote Hunger series.
A low rumble was Rowan’s only warning. He turned quickly, slanting his mouth over hers. Crushing pressure and his probing tongue had her opening to him. Need slammed into her. Quinn wrapped his arms around her waist, lifting her off the floor and against his body. His hard length trapped between them.
Snippet Saturday – We Got The Beat
This weeks snippet choice was a no brainer. I mean really, what else would I pick except Truth Or Dare?
~~~~~~
Miki sipped her second drink of the night and tried to appear like she was having a good time. There was nothing wrong with the party really, but she just couldn’t drum up the enthusiasm needed to get involved. Frankie had abruptly taken off the minute their first drinks had been served. Strange even for Frankie, but she didn’t blame her best friend. Frankie had come for a good time and, unlike Mikaila, she remembered how to have one. Then again, Francesca Winchester never stopped having fun. Miki’s chest rose on a deep sigh and she leaned on the wall behind her.
The party was picking up. More people were arriving every minute and soon there wouldn’t be room to breathe never mind roam around and mingle. Miki scanned the room for a familiar face but didn’t see any. Things were heating up on the other side of the room, a lively game of cards had started up about thirty minutes ago, and though she wasn’t sure of the rules, the point appeared to be to lose so you had to scull a drink. A smile tugged at her lips. It had been a long time since she’d played any drinking games, but she remembered them with fondness and a little pang of envy for those carefree times in her life.
She moved her gaze away from the rowdy group to take in the rest of the room. A few women talked animatedly off to the side, all of them drop-dead gorgeous and looking like they’d just stepped off the page of a magazine or runway. In the opposite corner a couple were having an intimate discussion and the rest of the crowd just seemed to be milling around. She took another sip of the refreshing cocktail in her hand. It wasn’t her usual drink, but as a thirst quencher it did the job. The evening was hot, another Sydney summer scorcher, and the plain sundress she wore stuck to her front and back where a fine layer of sweat coated her skin.
Miki’s gaze was drawn back to the man and woman in the opposite corner. Her eyes glued to the way he now took her mouth with a hunger that was palpable. She’d never been on the receiving end of such a kiss and a twinge of jealousy filled her chest. The woman appeared to melt into her partner as he devoured her mouth with his. Their passionate embrace bordered on indecent, but Mikaila couldn’t look away. Warmth pooled in her belly, her undies grew damp and prickly heat raced over her already hot skin. Embarrassed by her reaction to the unexpected show, she felt her cheeks burn with the blush her fair complexion had no hope of hiding.
Miki was so engrossed in the sexy encounter taking place across the room that the noise of the party faded to nothing. Try as she might, she couldn’t pull her gaze from the unintentional tableau. Not until her view was blocked. Two guys stepped in front of her, caging her against the wall.
“If it isn’t little Mikaila Drummond.” The deep voice skittered over her skin and she shivered as goose bumps broke out in its wake.
“Yeah, but she isn’t so little anymore.” The second voice was just as deep but slightly rougher. Both conjured images of late nights, tangled sheets and sweaty bodies.
Jeez, of all the times for her libido to wake up.

It’s the weekend!
OMG! I can’t believe another week has flown by. I also can’t believe that in 2 1/2 weeks I’ll be boarding a plane for LA with Mr.C. It seems like only yesterday I was saying it’s months away. There’s so much to do before we go and I’m 100% sure I’ll forget something. Oh well, I’ll just have to make do or go shopping.
While I run around like a chook with her head cut off all I can think about is getting away and spending time with Mr.C and a whole bunch of my favorite author pals. The lovely Lila Dubois is putting us up for few days at the beginning and the end of our trip and she’s got some great things planned to keep us entertained. But I need to get back to getting things done so while I’m doing that here’s a couple of pix for your viewing pleasure.
You’re welcome.
Blogging over at…
It Tuesday which means you can find a tease of something I’ve written over at the Down Under Divas blog
and
I’m talking about lists and how good I am as following them over at the Passionate Reads blog.
Six Sentence Sunday – Singapore Fling Pt3 – #sixsunday
Welcome to another week of Six Sentence Sunday. And back in the heat of Singapore Fling.
Last week I gave you the first six sentences of the book and this week I’m giving you the next six.
~~~~~~
She’d been watching him for months, had worked with him, side-by-side, and had really grown to like the
man beneath the amazingly handsome exterior. He was a tall drink of mouthwatering delight she’d had her eye on for a while now.
Dark stubble lined his jaw, giving his normally fresh-faced look a rugged, wild appearance. A white T-shirt pulled tight across the broad shoulders and pectoral muscles Carly’s fingers itched to trace. Biceps stretched the cotton sleeves and she imagined her hands curled around their thickness holding on as he gave her the ride of her life. One look at him had her pulse spiking and her pussy watering, along with her mouth.
