Back to work
It’s always hard to come back after holidays but with Christmas and our annual holiday being back to back it feels like I’ve been away for months not weeks! I’ve been wading through my emails and I think I’ve got it under control but don’t quote me.
There’s been lots going on behind the scenes here, both on a personal and work front. I’m behind on so much and will be doing the best I can to get back up to speed by the end of the week. Of course there’s the long awaited release of Truth or Dare this week to shout about plus some really great news in the form of reviews, interviews and nominations. I think I’ll do the reviews first.
Miranda over at Joyfully Reviewed has written a great review for Coyote Whispers. You can check out the full review HERE but here’s a little piece I liked -
“I just loved Rhian Cahill’s spectacular action sequences! I felt like I was right in the middle of it all!”
Thanks Miranda!
Two reviews have come in for Truth or Dare and the book isn’t even out yet! I’m so thrilled Miki, Dayne and Grant have received such great comments so far.
DiDi over at Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews gave Truth or Dare five stars. You can read the full review HERE and of course I’m going to share a snippet with you
“I was impressed by the fact that Ms. Cahill brought up something in this book that I have not seen in many menage books…..The fact that she wrote about Dayne feeling Grant’s hand touch his genitals, the guys touching each other during sex, not really intentional, but just in the throes of passion or in cuddling around Mikki and their thoughts about it, makes the intimate scenes believable……SO MAJOR PROPS to Ms. Cahill for writing about it.”
Thank you DiDi!
Over at Long and Short Reviews – Erotic Romance, Foxglove gave Truth or Dare four starts and had lots of great things to say about the book. Read the full review HERE but this is the bit I really liked -
“This is for all those readers who like their romance in threes, and spicy hot. One warning, though, you’ll need the tissues and the ice in equal measure.”
Thank you Foxglove!
I’m a featured author over at The Romance Studio this month. You can check out the interview HERE!
Now for the big *squee* moment. I’ve been nominated twice for the Australian Romance Readers Awards again this year! Last year was for two books in the same category, this year I’m up in two different categories. All Of You is nominated in the Favorite Erotic Romance category and Coyote Hunger has been nominated in the Favorite Continuing Romance Series category. I’m so thrilled by both of these nominations and I’m especially looking forward to the awards dinner in February. You can see all the nominations HERE and if you’re a member of ARRA don’t forget to vote.
My head is still spinning from all the wonderful news I’ve gotten since Christmas. It’s been a brilliant start to 2012.

New contract and two reviews!
It’s been a great few days. First I have to squee though.
squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee………………………………………
Okay, now that’s out of the way.
I sold another novella to Etopia Press. This is the kinda sequel to Bondi Beach Boys I was talking about the other day. The title is Sand, Surf, and Sunni, and it’s a m/f/m menage. I’m thrilled that Etopia want it. More details as I get them.
Reviews! Two of them.
All Of You got a 4 star review from Calisto over at The Romance Reviews. You can read the full review HERE! but I really, really like this bit -
“Scorching romantica done right!”
Coyote Run received a 4.5 Top Pick review from Missy over at Night Owl Reviews. The full review is HERE!
“This is my first time reading a Rhian Cahill Coyote book….. I will be watching this author very closely!”
Yeah, I’m smiling none stop right now.
I’m also over at The Romance Studio Blue blog today. http://trsblue.blogspot.com/2011/11/mothers-work-is-never-done.html Come on over and say hi.

All Of You received 4 cherries from Foxglove over at Whipped Cream Erotic Romance Reviews. Yay! The full review is HERE but you know me, I just have to share a snippet.
“This is definitely a sexy romance, with plenty of very hot action in places I didn’t see coming. There is a picnic in the park that raises the temperature quite nicely, without completely embarrassing either party.”
Ah yes, the park scene.
I remember it well.

Coyote Whispers gets 5 hearts from The Romance Studio
Karin over at The Romance Studio has given Coyote Whispers a great review and 5 hearts!! You can read the full review HERE but I wanted to share this bit:-
“They complement each other very well, and the chemistry between them leaps off the page anytime they’re in the same room.”
And this bit:-
“This is a wonderful addition to the Coyote Hunger series. Rhian Cahill has done a great job of making each story in the series better than the one before.”
<—-this is me! And it’s not just because of the great review, nope, those 5 hearts mean Coyote Whispers will be up for Sweetheart of the week next week. I’ll post the link once the voting goes live.
Thanks to Karin and the whole team at The Romance Studio.

Book three in the Coyote Hunger series.
“Doc” Gordie has tried to keep Steve McKenna at arm’s length, but the sexy coyote shifter is under her skin, in her blood and in her heart. No matter how much she fears what he makes her feel, she can’t bear to stay away. After he rescues her from a vicious attack, Gordie is helpless to deny the sizzling attraction burning between them.
There hasn’t been a day Steve has not wanted Doc in his bed, but bruised and bloody is not what he had in mind. The need for revenge is riding his coyote—almost as much as his aching desire to finally claim Doc as his own. But that will have to wait. He must first convince Doc the safest place for her is by his side. When a second attack draws them together, suppressed needs explode, leaving no doubt where they both belong. But danger is never far behind and Gordie is forced to make a fatal decision that could destroy all they’ve worked so hard to discover.
Excerpt:-
“There’s no turning back now, Doc.” His fingers toyed with the ends of her hair.
She swallowed over the lump in her throat. “I know.”
He smiled. “That easy?”
“It’s amazing what a little fright can do for the senses.” She tried to return his smile but it somehow slipped from her lips before it could form.
“Come here.” Steve released her seatbelt and pulled her into his lap, pinning her between his body and the wheel. “You’re safe here, Doc.”
Gordie figured he meant in his house, but for her, safety was his arms, the security of his embrace and the strength he offered her willingly. She moved closer, nuzzled her face against the warmth of his neck and drew in his scent. It amazed her how just that small action could soothe her nerves and rile them at the same time.
“Gordie.” Warm air ruffled her hair before she felt his lips press to her temple. “Come on, let’s get inside or everyone will arrive and find us fucking in my truck.”
She gasped. His use of strong language didn’t bother her, it was the images the words provoked that made her breathless.
“Yeah, I’m that close.” He chuckled as he opened the door and maneuvered them out of the cab.
“I can walk.”
“I know, but I want to carry you and you’re going to let me.” His arms tightened around her.
“Okay.”
Steve laughed. “All this easy agreement is starting to worry me, Doc.”
“Don’t worry. I’ll be back to my disagreeable self soon enough and then you’ll wish you hadn’t started this.”
“Never.”
“You say that now…”
He swung her legs down until her toes barely touched the ground and pressed her against the side of his truck. “I’ll say it forever.”
Great reviews for All Of You
It’s lovely to get reviews at any stage after a book is released but getting them in the first couple of weeks is always a relief for me. I’m usually chewing my nails until I hear those first reader comments. With any book it could go either way, a review is only one persons opinion after all but I love knowing what readers think of my stories.
All Of You came out September 26 and I’ve done very little to promo this one because I was packing for my US trip and then on my trip (still am) with internet problems (see previous post) but I’ve received two reviews that made my day and have my fingers itching to write the next book in the Only You series.
Maldivian Book Reviewer gave All Of You 4 stars and had this to say:-
“Hot enough to singe off more than just your eyebrows, with a hero that you would just clamor for to make him your own, All of You is a novella that once again proves Rhian’s ability to spin an erotic story well worth your time & money!”
You can read the full review here!
Pearl of Pearl’s World of Romance scored All Of You a 9.2 awesome rating.
I liked this part of her review:-
“It’s been a while since I read a Rhian Cahill book and reading ALL OF YOU made me realize how much I missed her awesome writing. She has the uncanny ability to pull me completely into her books with writing that’s utterly captivating and explicitly hot with a capital H.”
The full review can be found here!
All Of You is currently #1 on the Noble Romance bestseller list and I thank everyone who helped put it there. Please, whether you’re a reviewer or just a reader, drop me a line and let me know what you think of Ryan and Claire’s story. Nothing makes my day more than knowing someone enjoyed losing themselves in the pages of one of my books.
Rhian
Claire Jones never dreamed the fantasies she’d been having about the young guy next door would ever become reality, but after a push from her best friend and one encounter involving dirty laundry, she’s getting more reality than one woman should be allowed. But with reality comes emotion, and Claire finds herself falling deeper and deeper under Ryan’s spell.
Ryan Doherty wants in Claire’s pants, but he soon discovers hot sex isn’t all he’s after. She makes him happy in a way nothing and no one else ever has, and if he has to use their amazing chemistry to stay in her life, he will. Because having more of Claire isn’t an option. It’s the only choice.
Can Ryan and Claire bridge the age gap to find the love of a lifetime, or will what others think destroy the best thing either of them has ever found?
Review for Bondi Beach boys
The lovely Pearl from Pearl’s World of Romance read Bondi Beach Boys and gave it 8.3 Great rating. I’m so thrilled she liked Piper, Nate and Sam as I know she doesn’t usually read m/m/f stories. She had some great things to say about Bondi Beach Boys and you can check out the full review HERE but as I usually do I’m gonna share snippet.
“I love her writing, it’s enthralling and once I start reading I can’t stop until I’m done with the book and then I crave more of it! There are a few authors who have the ability to mesmerize me with their words and Rhian Cahill is definitely one of them. Her descriptions of feelings, lust and need but also mundane stuff as houses and scenery are indescribably good. I’ve said it before and it bears repeating: she could write package leaflets for medication and I’d still gobble it up.”
Damn. Pearl sure does know how to make a writer feel good about herself.
In other news I’m blogging over at Passionate Reads where I’m talking about conferences. CLICK HERE

One Night In Bangkok review
A few months ago Saxon from Singapore Fling came to the attention of Maldivian Book Reviewer thanks to Pearl of Pearl’s World of Romance. Now Maldivian has gotten her hands on Tom from One Night In Bangkok. *grin* She’s subjected him to her new review style, I-Review, and I have to say the girl has made me blush and smile so wide I think my jaw broke. You can hope over to Maldivian Book Reviewer’s Realm of Romance HERE! to read the full review but I have to this is my favorite line:-
“Just flat-out loved it!”
See, what’s not to smile about? *grin*

Doing Logan was Joyfully reviewed! Thanks to Miranda for her lovely comments. You can check out the full review HERE! but as usual I thought I’d share a snippet:-
“I love Logan’s determination from the start. Telling her this is definitely not a one night stand and she better get used to having him around.”
Coyote Run was reviewed by Terrie over at Bitten By Books. Check out her review HERE! I liked this line:-
“It’s a little intriguing in set-up, drawing you in and ensuring that you postulate on what happens next.”
Oh, and for those who are fans of the coyotes you’ll be happy to know I’m working on Steve and Doc’s story and hoping to have it to my editor by the end of April.
