Damn. Almost a year since I dropped you all a note. Life has really kicked my ass and my writing world took a backseat to some special arrivals.
If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook you would have seen plenty of pix of this pair over the last year. Fynn is now 1 and Indigo is 7mths and I swear, that time has gone so fast. They are a joy to watch grow and explore and while I’m not living in the same country I’m getting to see them most days via Facetime. Usually when they’re grumpy because apparently talking to G’ma makes them happy. As it should. ๐ I’m not traveling home as much this year (I went home 6 times last year) so I won’t get to cuddle them as often but I’ll be sure to get all the cuddles in when I am with them. ๐
The advantage of not traveling so much is I’ll be able to get back into the writing (well that’s the plan anyway) and I already have a few things lined up. First I’ve got the final re-release of one of my titles happening this month, then I’m getting most of my books back in print. This is proving to be a huge learning curve for me but I’m getting there. And of course there’s writing time so that I can get something new out.
There’s one other major change in our lives that’s already happened. The Kid and his girlfriend have moved in with us for a year of study and travel.
Although last time one of the kids did this (#1Son & #LadyNoLongerWaiting) they didn’t leave after the year so we’ll see how things are come December. This change means I’m now sharing my office. The three of us have enough space but I think we’re all going to be using our noise cancelling headphones most days. Especially when The Kid is gaming! Damn he’s loud even with headphones on!
Well that’s it for now. I’ll try not to wait another year before blogging again. ๐

Hey stranger. Your babies are adorable. As an old great-grandma, better known as Wowie, to my grand kids, I’d be more than happy to take either of those precious babies and just love on them.
I’ve been wondering where/how you are. It’s really good to hear from you. And I know about the “big kids” moving back in. My 28 yr old grandson is living with us and have no clue when he’s gonna leave. Don’t think he has any desire to leave, what with the free room and board and laundry service he’s getting.
Anyway, good to hear from you. Keep in touch.
Hey stranger is right! ๐ We’ve had a lot going on and it’s been especially hard to fit everything in. I’m hoping for more balance this year and I’m planning on using The Kid as much as possible. Since they got here I’ve only cooked once! Yay!! And yeah, you’re grandson isn’t going anywhere. Not with how good he’s got it!
Hey, it’s me again. I tried to sign up for your blog and it keeps telling me there is an error and to try again. So, I don’t know if I’m already subscribed or what. Just wanted to let you know.
I checked my subscription list and you’re already on it. ๐ Not sure why it said error. It’s supposed to tell you you’ve already subscribed. ๐
