Christmas.
Last night I finally put away the Christmas decorations. π
I’ve been in denial about the whole of the-year-that-shall-not-be-mentioned.
So much of last year wasn’t the way is was supposed to be, or expected, or even imagined. I kid you not, I couldn’t make most of that shit up and I make shit up for a living!
Anyway, I thought I’d share some pix of our decorations. π
Yes, the Grinch is popping Christmas balls into our Fijian Kava bowl on the dining table. π
I just realized our star had a lean to it…
These all look great as they are but they’re even better after I turn them on!
Aren’t they fantastic? And two of them play music too!
This is my favorite of ALL my decorations. Years ago my mother-in-law started buying them for me and they had to stay in their boxes when the kids were little and the last couple of years I didn’t put them out either but this year I went all out with the village and even rigged the lights (okay, Mr.C rigged the lights, wherever π ).
I’m not sure if it will let you zoom in enough but inside that teeny-tiny house is Santa!
It was sad putting it all away because it really doesn’t feel as though we’ve had Christmas at all. π₯
Here’s hoping we get Christmas in July with the Tribe in Oz.
