I’m sure most of us have asked which way is up before. Usually we’re referring to how busy we are, right? Yeah, don’t I wish 🙄
Unfortunately these last two weeks that question was more about staying down than knowing which way was up.
If you’re on my VIP List you know I’ve spent the last two weeks battling vertigo (I definitely lost). For those who’ve suffered from vertigo you know how hard it is to function and for those who haven’t, imagine spinning in circles hundreds of times then stopping. That! Right there! That’s what it feels like. Except it doesn’t diminish once you stop spinning. In fact, it’s like you keep spinning, and depending on how severe the bout it might go on for days.
Oh, and more often than not you’re also dealing with nausea. And remember lifting your head increases the spinning…..
Honestly I’m still a little ‘off’ in my balance and if I move too quickly I’m spinning again. It makes doing anything a problem because the second I move too fast or even just move I’m likely to take a twirl. Well my brain does anyway.
Might explain why I’m not a huge fan of amusement park rides….
