Sooooo…….this time last year I was waiting for the arrival of a new tower resident. It’s hard to believe it was a year ago today that Twix flew from Sydney to Singapore to join us in this expat life. It’s also hard to believe that I’ve not once mentioned her arrival. You know what that means, right?
Yep, I’m going to spam all my social with cat pix!
As you can see, she’s doing it tough.
Twix is actually #TheKid’s cat but he moved out and left her at our house in Sydney were #PrincessOne’s and #PrincessandthePea’s cats liked to beat her up. Regularly.
Originally we left her behind because we figured #TheKid would take her with him and I was terrified she’d attempt to fly (27 floors down is a long way even if you’re known to land on your feet!), but then #TheKid didn’t take her so we made the decision to bring her up.
I’m not sure what she’s added to our lives other than cat hair and I’m not sure how she’s going to cope when Mr.C goes back to work (at his office, not mine!!) or starts traveling again.
Tell me, are you a pet household?
We have a Yorkie mix who rules our house despite being 8 pounds. Trix is cute!!
Twix thinks she rules the house too. And I doubt she weighs for than 4 pounds!
