It seems crazy to think six months ago we lived in Singapore. The move back to Oz (and Mr.C’s retirement) has been this weird time warp, slow-mo, time-freeze thing that feels like it was years ago and only yesterday we left behind our life in Singapore for this grand new adventure.
We’re still ‘homeless’ but we’re not in a rush to find a home because the way things are means we get to bounce from house to house to hang with the kids and Gbabies.
Which is easy now I have Betty!

I love her! And the Gbabies love the sunroof. Since I bought her it’s been a lot easier getting around and helping with the Gbabies.
On the writing front I’m doing okay. One of our daughters has graciously given me the use of a room for a permanent office which is great! I’ve got my desk set up and my iMac as well. It’s so much better working on a big screen instead of the smaller laptop one. Although the iMac is old and the laptop less than six months old so I’m having some frustration with the slowness of the iMac. Other than that I’m happy with this temporary arrangement. Except…
I’m missing boxes!
I had my office split into two sections before packing began so I’d have everything I need to keep working seamlessly. But surprise, surprise, I’m missing stuff. Books, and stickers, and pens, and a set of clear drawers I keep my pens in (although I have the other three?) and a board I use for visual motivation to keep getting the to-do list done is nowhere to be seen.
Everything will be in a box.
Somewhere.
I just have no idea where in the stacks of boxes we have stored in our daughter’s garage and son’s garage. I’m not at the point of hunting them down. That would be a mission of epic proportions and to be honest, I don’t have the energy for it right now.
Maybe next year. After the Christmas crazy.
Speaking of Christmas. Anyone started shopping? Finished shopping?
I’m in the haven’t started group. We have set aside a day this week to hit up the shops and get as much as we can done. Although I have no idea what to get anyone. Hopefully I’ll find inspiration at the shops.
Got any helpful tips for making it through the silly season?

Amazon gift lists for everyone. Gift cards and sleeping masks. They have really cute ones for kids.
Have a great holiday season.????????
Those are great tips Pamela! Especially when our oldest Gbaby likes wearing a sleep mask.
Thanks for the suggestions and well wishes. I hope you have a fantastic holiday season too!
