**Note: I’m currently somewhere in Alaska or Canada or out to sea…anyway, I’m with Mr.C as he visits some places he’s always wanted to go. While I’m away and because I wasn’t sure how much time I’d have to get online or even if I could, I’ve got some posts pre-scheduled for your reading pleasure. It’s also a way for me to recap the last few months.**
This time two months ago we were in the middle of prep for the wedding of #TheKid & #WarriorGirl.
Man, talk about a brilliant event! It was three days of celebrating and perfect weather! Not too cold, not too hot.
The venue was a ‘farm’, where the kids who attended got to feed the animals. There was a gorgeous, whimsical chapel for the ceremony that suited the bride and groom perfectly. The huge barn the reception dinner was held in had three long ‘Harry Potter’ style tables with the bride and groom sitting at their own table at the top of them. Very, very ‘Harry Potter-ish’ much to Mr.C’s pleasure. Guests got to either slept in a cottage or a glamping tent. Mr.C and I chose a tent because why not?
We don’t have official photos yet but here are a few candid shots taken by guests.

Aren’t the Gbabies gorgeous!? How we got them to sit still long enough to take this is anyone’s guess.

The bride and groom looking especially happy.

Our accommodation.

The kids loved being able to feed the animals. The adults didn’t think it was that bad either.

Festivities began with a casual meal the night before the wedding which the bride and groom enjoyed immensely.

We ended the wedding festivities with a recovery breakfast the morning after.
It’s was a fantastic three days and while there was a bit of work involved (and I had to go hunting for a cuppa in my dressing gown!) the effort was worth it.
Oh, and here’s me and Mr.C.

We don’t scrub up too bad if I do say so myself.
